Well, Richard sure looks like he is proud to be the owner of some new shoes. And so he should be. He can hold those new shoes because this guy is sponsored by one amazing woman. The woman who sponsor’s Richard is a mother at heart. She is also a mother to two and grandma to five. And loved by many more children than that, as she has been faithful to call of teaching. She is a busy lady laying down her life for the students she teaches and the people around her. She attends church faithfully, loves her children faithfully, loves her grandchildren faithfully, gives to her church faithfully and lives for Christ faithfully. Her faithfulness has allowed her the ability to share the result of that faithfulness with another person a world away from her own. Richard is benefiting directly because of one woman’s’ desire to stay faithful her to the call to “give to the poor”. This is one call we can all participate in. The one to share with the poor, help the needy. It’s really quite simple and yet results in the complex lifting up of another human being to a place of self pride and can lead to success for that person later in life. Make a difference like Helen did. Be a shoe giver... or whatever kind of giver you desire....the results? Take a look at the photo again... Richard is well on his way to his future because he’s Helen’s Richard.
